Stuck in Snow

I've always been fascinated by snow. It was one of the things that I looked forward to actually seeing in person before I came here. Of course, I was delighted when I finally moved to a Winter Wonderland of a state and well, my husband wasn't all that pleased with snow.

Snow is beautiful, it always has been. I've always been awed by each individual flake and how pretty they are. I just find them so elegant and... just so pure and beautiful! Call me so corny, whatevs lol

I wish I brought out a nicer camera, but isn't that lovely!

The feeling isn't so lovely anymore when you're on your way to work and you get stuck. Now that's pretty frustrating. And well, that's exactly what happened today. There was just too much snow our car couldn't even make it out the driveway.

Oh and we started trying really early in the morning to get out of the driveway and it was still dark. Look, there's light out already!

When we finally was able to get the car out of the driveway past the sidewalk, another car was stuck at the corner for almost an hour! So I guess we're really not gonna make it. We had to turn and push the car in instead. So much for effort, we just got it out to turn it around.

And of course we got stuck on our way in again....... it took us forever to get out that snow has covered the tracks we left behind!

But I guess not everyone was sad about the snow. Of course Hans was so eager to dive into the snow and have fun. He's not a long haired pup so he didn't stay out so long but he sure loved it. Note to self, puppy boots for next winter so he can stay out longer. We really don't want him out there and hurt his paws.

At the end of the day I guess it wasn't so bad. It was a lot of cardio, oh my geez, but we get to stay in and cuddle with the big pup! And yeah, the tree is still up - leave it alone lol
