We're almost done!! After the long, long wait my rug has arrived and I'm halfway through my craft room rearrangement. I know, I know - it's just a rug but trust me, it definitely felt like an achievement.

When I ordered the rug, it said it would be delivered on the 28th which is about 2 weeks from that time. Oh geebs, that was awful. I already moved everything literally all over the house (because my craft hoard is just too much). Now waiting two weeks to put it back together sounds like a total pain! Luckily, a few days after it processed the shipping updated to the 20th! Of course, things didn't go as planned and for some reason it got delayed at Maryland for two more days.

Got the 12 gauges read a few days ago, went to bed early, made sure everything is set for the next day and early morning before the sun rises, we went out to position ourselves to get some ducks. 

It's duck season!

There's so much beautiful scenery at this time of day. For a fact, I know we were gonna be out there all day anyways. It's a pretty new experience for me. Hunting is part of the Midwest culture. It stocks up the fridge and I'm not gonna lie, I cook a lot and this saves us a big chunk. Nothing is really more organic than this.

And of course, some time to roam around. Where we are situated, there is a sand bank in the middle of the lake so we were able to walk in our  waders! Gotta meet we had lots of fun. And some good photos too!

I'm not very much of a work-out person, let alone doing a race. I've always had asthma, it's not so bad but I definitely do not like the feeling of catching my breath and having to die every time. I've been more actively in the last few years compared to my whole entire existence prior getting married. My lifestyle have changed so much that I think working out should be a regular part of it now. I really don't mind much of it, to put it shortly - I hate running.

That being said, we signed up for the Terrain Race 2019!

It's an annual tradition for Team Frank to go to Road America every year. I'm not a big car girl (at all), and I barely know much about cars. I'll the mechanics to the pro (the hubs) and the aesthetics to me, I'll take photos. LOL.
