Got the 12 gauges read a few days ago, went to bed early, made sure everything is set for the next day and early morning before the sun rises, we went out to position ourselves to get some ducks.
It's duck season! 
There's so much beautiful scenery at this time of day. For a fact, I know we were gonna be out there all day anyways. It's a pretty new experience for me. Hunting is part of the Midwest culture. It stocks up the fridge and I'm not gonna lie, I cook a lot and this saves us a big chunk. Nothing is really more organic than this.
And of course, some time to roam around. Where we are situated, there is a sand bank in the middle of the lake so we were able to walk in our waders! Gotta meet we had lots of fun. And some good photos too!

Finally, we did it!! And yes, I'm that mom who does the photoshoots, events, and all LOL.
#SorryNotSorry I'm so happy and proud, Hans the Boxador did such a great job during our photoshoot and the photos are live! We met Bobbie from Spunky's Pawprints during a fundraiser event by one of our local shelters. I really loved our on-set photos so I decided to hire her to take Hans' pictures. Yes, yes. My own husband said it too. I'm a photographer so why not just take Hans' photos. Seems reasonable, right? Well, sometimes I just want to sit back, relax and enjoy. Perhaps be in the photograph too, right? And that's exactly what I did! 
I couldn't stress it more that he was a very good boy!! ♥

28 wonderful years ago, my AlexBear was born to this world!! I couldn't be any thankful that this happened, otherwise I would've probably had a very different life. I wouldn't trade him for anything in the world!
He's so cute!!!! I always love going back to his baby pics!
This birthday celebration tho, sure is full of a lot uncertain preparations and plans! Every year I try to make his birthdays special and surprise AlexBear with something relatively new or fun. On his first birthday that we were together, I did an amazing race. The next year I had him some really fun gifts. On the third year, I got him a hat and some items on his wish list.
