We're almost done!! After the long, long wait my rug has arrived and I'm halfway through my craft room rearrangement. I know, I know - it's just a rug but trust me, it definitely felt like an achievement.
When I ordered the rug, it said it would be delivered on the 28th which is about 2 weeks from that time. Oh geebs, that was awful. I already moved everything literally all over the house (because my craft hoard is just too much). Now waiting two weeks to put it back together sounds like a total pain! Luckily, a few days after it processed the shipping updated to the 20th! Of course, things didn't go as planned and for some reason it got delayed at Maryland for two more days.

Rearrange the house, they said.
There's nothing much to do during quarantine so let's have home projects, they said. Well, that's exactly what I am doing and it didn't go as planned as much as I hoped!
The main goal was to get everything done this weekend. Rearrange and make a nice, decent, organized room that's inspiring and calm. Well, right now the whole place is a mess! While organizing, I hit several roadblocks - including a rug that's had been eaten by the my beloved fuzzy guinea piigs. Yes, I call them piigs. LOL. Well, when I first started, the piigs came in a small cage. I was broke and I ended up buying a large play pen. I made a custom flooring and unfortunately, they were able to get to the rug... and welp, they ate it.
So it begins - set things in place and gets started!
Step 1: Get things organized. Well - the struggle is real. See, the Craft Corner aka Craft Dump is an utter mess right now. I was trying to figure out how to film craft videos. There are lots of ways to do it, for the most part I have the tools from tripods to cameras, lighting, and whatever else... except the tripod arm, but the problem is that the whole place is a mess. This is a glimpse of that lovely mess. I don't have a very big area and the little spot that I have is just... full. So very, very full. It's a mess!!
I'm happily doing what I do, but nope I am definitely not happy with how messy that is! >.<
Now, time to get the motivation to actually clean up and maybe get rid of some hoard that I no longer need. This is gonna be a tough process. I might need to consider the time I'm going to spend debating with myself. Okay, so I know it doesn't really look that bad but I don't have much space to store some items anymore, or to spread the crafts around. I really am hoping I could buy the house some day, but not really holding on to that thought for now. Anyways, I started brainstorming figuring out what to do next. It's just a fancy way of saying that I started overthinking trying to figure out how get things to work out and not be lazy ending up binge watching Tiger King or Narcos. Planning helps a lot, so I have to jot that down my handy-dandy planner.
Moral support helps too! Look at my crew ^.^
Today I start. Now let's see how this goes!
I have waited a month for this and I'm super happy!
I was just looking through Facebook when I came across this event at the Fire Escape. It's a local art studio here in Oshkosh that does workshops and various events for kids, adults, fundraisers and more. You can also just walk in to do your own stuff by yourself, with family, or friends. I think their specialty is getting to choose your ceramic item and paint it. They will then glaze and fire it for you! They also have other stuff like wood signs and more. I have always wanted to try their ceramic projects since I basically do much of the other stuff, except this because I have no kiln (yet). It's also fun to do it with others! I've been following K9 Odin in Instagram. One of his videos went viral overnight and I couldn't be any happier that it's one of our own. When I saw that there will be a meet and greet fundraiser event for the OPD K-9 team, I definitely has to go!!!! Starstruck!
Have I said I waited a whole month for this? Yes, yes I did! The art stuff, honestly, is a bonus. I love art but dogs AND art... not to mention, it's K-9 Odin (yes I make it a point that Hans' IG likes all his posts) and I get to meet him! Awesomesauce!!
The studio was actually full. Extra full! AlexBear and I chose our item to work on, and an hour later... OMG. OMG. THEY'RE HERE!
If you don't know yet - I have an Etsy shop! I sell charms and jewelry and now I've expanded my line to a lot of other custom wood works. I don't have new charms up, but I'm working into adding more. I have also decided to create a new Youtube Channel where I can put my DIY stuff and more!
