I can't believe that it has been forever since we went up North!
Okay, so before we begin you may be wondering where Up North is. This is a term I learned when I got here in Wisconsin. "Up North" simply means a rural area somewhere in Northern Wisconsin away from the city. Many people here go up north to take a break, relax, be in nature, camp, go fishing, make smores... well smores are optional. We used to always go up there to chill over the weekend but last winter has been rough and we've been pretty busy since it got warm. It's already June and we're finally here! Last we were here, the leaves were starting to turn. The scene was a mix of green and fiery reds and oranges. This time tho is completely bright. Less dramatic but more upbeat! As usual we had to leave late Friday so no night images of basically the dark LOL. Either, it's my beautiful family getaway... Puzz Meets the Chickies and Turkeys
Hans Wuzz Puzz has always been a good boy and of course he did amazing meeting the chickies and the turkeys for the first time! You can follow his adventures by following him in Facebook or Instagram!
He was cautious and he was also very gentle...
Making sure he was herding them the best he can! Grandpa made a larger coop for them since the one he bough online was too small. Hans got to sneak inside and see.
I'd say he was pretty happy this weekend!
Good Time Relaxing!
I would say it was well deserved! One of the big reasons we really haven't gone up here is the time. We're usually busy and we're trying to make the most out of it. I think sitting around and just not having to worry about anything is worth it.
It would've been perfect, only downside is the mosquitoes were pretty bad. I got to tell you, they are HUGE! I'm allergic to these things so right now I've got welts all over. Nasty sight, not worth taking photos of lol. But bonding time is more precious than crying over mosquitoes.
For some reason, fresh air just makes me sleepy. It's so... calm.
I guess it makes most people sleepy... It's Always So Scenic
I can never really get enough of this place... or any place other than the city. It's always interesting and never tiring.
And of course, typical Wisconsin weather. It was really sunny on our way home and suddenly it's all cloudy and gloomy. I suppose it's almost 130 miles away, I guess the distance justifies that.
Tactical Photo Sneaky Peaky
Finally, AlexBear and I are able to do our first Tactical Photoshoot! Hooray!
We're planning to do another session, probably with more gear but it was fun. Mosquito attack tho, not fun. Overall, still satisfied. These are just some images I was able to post process while I was there.
More to come!
